During the fall-winter season, we hold drop-in scrimmages every second week at different rinks across the city. During the summer, we continue to hold scrimmages once per month. Times and locations vary depending on ice availability, and are communicated to the team in advance using BenchApp. Please contact us if you are interested in joining the BenchApp and email list.
Participants
All skill levels are welcome, whether you are a complete beginner or more experienced. Teams are divided to ensure they are balanced, and the emphasis is on fun and teamwork. Overly competitive or aggressive play is not tolerated.
Most players are over 18 years old, however, younger players are welcome. Please contact us to inquire further about attending if you are younger.
In order to increase access, we offer a sliding scale of $5 - $30 per drop-in session.
Equipment
Full equipment is required. If you do not have equipment, please contact us to inquire about loaner gear.
If possible, please bring both a light / white and dark jersey.
General Play Guidelines
- No body contact is tolerated. Player safety is the priority.
- No slapshots.
- Only words of encouragement and respect will be welcomed in the change room, on ice, and on the bench.
- Please be respectful of individual's pronouns. If you are not sure, please ask.
- Changerooms are all gender and open to everyone.
